Clinic and Aftercare Details
LACROSSE PROGRAMS - Fun, positive, large-group stickwork/foundational training for girls and non-binary players (ages 6-14).
Winter Monday Clinic #1:
Open to All (ages 6-14)
7 sessions on February 2, 9, 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23
6:00 - 7:30pm (includes 30 minutes of free play)
$140 for one player
Wednesday Aftercare:
Open to All (ages 6-14)
8 sessions on February 4, 11, 18, 25, March 4, 11, 18, 25
3:30 - 5:30pm
$40 per player per session or $280 for all 8 sessions ($40 discount)
NOTE: $500 for enrollment in 2 days of aftercare (i.e., 1 day of LAX and 1 day of basketball); $750 for enrollment in all 3 days of aftercare (see basketball tab for additional details)
Additional Program Descriptions and Details
Clinic and Open Gym Location - All clinics are held at Old Pine Community Center (OPCC), located on the corner of 4th and Lombard Street.
Clinic Timing - All clinics last 60 minutes and are followed by a 25 minute open shootaround*
Wednesday Scrimmage Timing - Players have 90 minutes to participate in an "Open Gym" style scrimmage. During this time limited coaching/instruction is provided. Players engage in various types of gameplay (1v1, 3v2v1, 3v3, 5v5, etc.) in a primarily self-regulated environment with minor oversight from SBA coaching staff. Parents are welcomed to watch but will be asked to act as spectators only.
Bitty Ballers Description - Caters to players ages 6 through 9 (younger and/or beginners) and include 30 mins of open shootaround.
Super Hoopers Description - Caters to players ages 9 through 14 who wish to improve their skills. It also includes 30 minutes of open shootaround.
Aftercare Partnership - Players also enrolled in Old Pine Community Center's Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday Afterschool program can be picked up from McCall, Meredith, St. Peter's and Nebinger schools. Old Pine Aftercare provides snacks, homework help, and supervised activities prior to getting to the gym on time for basketball!
*Open shootarounds provide supervised but unstructured free play for clinic participants. Parents/guardians and siblings are encouraged (but not required!) to join at this time and play basketball with the kids and their friends!
